| There were things I wanted this piece to be. Of course it would be unique because all individual carvings have minor differences which make them unique. I wanted its stand to be different, I wanted the plants to be differerent and I wanted to include the environmental factor that is a magnet to herons namely, water. When considering the water it would be nice if I could have some dropping into the pond to form concentric rings. I think I achieved some of my wantings - the bark shoreline, the bark vegetation and the droplets of water on the upraised foot. |
